Scene is a small, curated, play focussed event at which complex psychological and physical dynamics are explored and boundaries are pushed, as such we do everything we can to ensure that the humans attending Scene are safe.

• New members must be vetted.

• Scene is for experienced kink practitioners and individuals

• Scene is for sex industry professionals, thought and brand leaders, kinky makers, creators, and innovators who are actively engaged in their local scene.

• You must provide at least two referees who can enthusiastically vouch for you as a safe, sound individual in both social and kink/BDSM play environments.

• Referees must:

  • Know you well

  • Have played with you or witnessed you play

  • Be willing to submit a vouching form

• Referees must be current Scene members who have attended Scene events ( Scene members who have not yet attended cannot act as referees).

• If you do not have Scene referees but are a member of UnScene, UnScene members may vouch for you; membership will be considered at Scene’s discretion.

• If you are not a sex industry professional but meet the other criteria, you must still provide a minimum of two Scene referees.

• If you have neither Scene nor UnScene referees, you must provide at least two professional sex industry referees who know you well, and have witnessed you play, who we can contact.

Play does not equate to genital contact and PIV sex. It can mean a wide array of BDSM or kink activity that does not have to be explicitly sexual. It can mean sex but it does not have to. If you understand the word play to solely mean penetrative sex, Scene is not the event for you.
